Pinhole Camera

I love looking at the ceiling on weekend mornings. The window and the morning sun create a pinhole camera so I can see cars and people passing by on the street below.

Don't know how I've never seen this until now, it's been around since 2003. Four Tet's track 'As Serious As Your Life' - Morris dancing in one fell swoop... became cool.

You might think I'm just getting old when I say this, but they don't make 'em like they used to. Dutch cartoon from the 70s called Bennys Badekar which is totally awesomed-up with a quality funk track called ‪Blækspruttesangen‬, or Octopus Song.

There's just something about the simplicity of animated gifs I really love (click the image above if it ain't movin'). There's a bunch of them on Jaime Martinez's site which have a lovely calm, surreal feel to them. The rest of the portfolio's worth a look too.

I first saw work by We Are From L.A. a few months ago with this video for Yelle's track, La Musique. Great stuff on their site for Cassius too. I predict big things for these guys.
